From behind a curtain of black and barely
Shining silver, steps a tarnished girl,
The girl that fell through from a hole in
Her old world.
The unwanted and the lonely, she
Knew it all so well, the breaking
Of her heart she felt the undying pain
Swell.
Had they forgotten her brown eyes,
Did they know she cried tears because
Of the ridged scars on the inside,
And got tired of all the lies.
Not one hand reached out for her,
Not one heart gave love that she
Was told would be there, just
A memory forgotten is what she was.
The unwanted and the lonely, thats
Where she lived, silence slithering all
Around, never hearing a voice of someone
Else, they were never around.
A dying light, snuffed out by the users,
Abusers that never showed they cared,
Just pulled out her heart and soul,
Making her abandoned and old.
She cries, while their iron hearts
Beat on, and they forget her again and again,
The unwanted the lonely forever her friend.
